How Glow works

One counted vote is 1 Glow before boosts. A complete, well written listing earns a small Glow bonus once per month, and a server that stays online earns a little more for every full day of good uptime and players. Every IP address and every Minecraft name can vote once per server and day. The limit resets at midnight German time.

Active boosts add together. +20% and +10% make +30%. The total is capped, 50% unless an admin changes that cap. A boost applies only to Glow earned after it starts. It never rewrites older points. New servers receive a newcomer boost for their first 30 days unless that rule is changed.

Each month is its own season, switching at midnight German time. All-time Glow is kept as well. Trending is still recent votes, not Glow. A server leaves the public board when its last status ping is older than 14 days. A server that has never been pinged can still appear.
